Head of Chambers

Ch. Afrasiab Khan is the Head of Chambers at Imran Afrasiab Law Company. He is a leading and sought-after Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan. He is an expert litigator with extensive litigation experience of more than 50 years before various Courts at every tier of the judicial hierarchy in Pakistan, with special focus on litigation before the Supreme Court of Pakistan and the High Courts at Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Lahore. During this period, he handled and argued thousands of cases pertaining to most areas of law including civil, criminal, service/employment, tax, customs, revenue, and banking etc. He has served as Chairman Election Board, Supreme Court Bar Association of Pakistan, for 13 consecutive years. He is a visiting lecturer at the Quaid-i-Azam University School of Law, Islamabad. He has previously served as:

  • Deputy Attorney General for Pakistan;
  • Standing Counsel for Pakistan;
  • Member 1st Executive Committee of the Supreme Court Bar Association, Pakistan;
  • Member, Punjab Bar Council;
  • President, High Court Bar Association, Rawalpindi;
  • President, District Bar Association, Chakwal; and
  • Member of teaching faculties at Punjab Law College, Rawalpindi Law College and Muslim Law College.

Ch. Imran Hassan Ali

Member

Ch. Imran Hassan Ali was enrolled as an Advocate High Courts in 2006 and as an Advocate Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2016.

Imran is a Barrister and was called to the Bar of England and Wales by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn in 2009. He has the following educational qualifications:

  • B.A. in Political Science and History (Punjab University)
  • LL.B. (Punjab University Law College, Lahore)
  • M.A. in Legal Studies (Bristol, UK)
  • LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law (University College London)
  • BVC (Nottingham Law School, UK)

Imran also remained a student of MBBS at Rawalpindi Medical College for a while before switching over to Law.
